Job Description

Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the shopping mall, ensuring a safe, clean, efficient and customer-focused environment. The role oversees facilities, security, cleaning, contractor performance and tenant operational support while maintaining high service standards across the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the shopping mall and common areas.
  • Oversee cleaning, security, maintenance and other outsourced service providers.
  • Ensure all building systems and facilities are operating effectively.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety and emergency procedures.
  • Support tenants with operational matters and ensure adherence to mall regulations.
  • Coordinate operational requirements for events and peak trading periods.
  • Monitor operational budgets, service levels and contractor performance.
  • Prepare regular operational reports for management.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in Facilities, Property or Operations Management (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years' experience in shopping malls, commercial property, hospitality or a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing contractors and operational budgets.
  • Good knowledge of health & safety and building operations.

Skills Required
