We are seeking a commercially sharp, detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead and scale Biome’s city/ regional operations. This role demands meticulous planning and continuous monitoring to ensure vendor development, cost-efficient project execution, and flawless delivery across interiors, modular furniture installations, and events.
- Identify, onboard, and nurture local vendors (fabricators, contractors, event partners, logistics providers).
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts to achieve competitive pricing and service quality.
- Establish and monitor SLAs and KPIs to ensure performance and cost control.
- Create detailed project plans with clear timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Track progress daily against milestones; identify risks early and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with design, production, and client teams for seamless delivery.
- Oversee site operations, including material delivery, workforce scheduling, and compliance with health & safety norms.
- Own project-level P&L: prepare budgets, track costs, and safeguard profitability.
- Analyse vendor quotes and project financials to drive cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins through process efficiencies and smart sourcing.
- Act as the on-ground representative of Biome for clients, architects, and event organisers.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and partners to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Implement SOPs and operational best practices for consistency and scalability.
- Provide regular monitoring reports and performance dashboards to management.
- Uphold Biome’s sustainability values in all vendor practices and project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety, and environmental norms.
Graduate in Engineering / Architecture / Construction Management or related field; MBA a plus.
5–8 years’ experience in operations/project management in interiors, construction, events, or allied industries.
Proven track record in meticulous project planning, real-time monitoring, commercial negotiations, budgeting, and P&L management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
Willingness to travel within the region and work on-site as required

Skills Required
