What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day operational activities across projects, bookings, logistics, and supplier coordination.
  • Coordinate labour allocation, travel arrangements, freight planning, and operational schedules to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, venues, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and operational readiness.
  • Drive operational performance by monitoring KPIs, identifying risks, and implementing process improvements.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, coordination, and negotiating operational requirements where appropriate.
  • Oversee freight and shipment coordination, ensuring documentation, timelines, and compliance requirements are accurately managed.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost tracking across labour, travel, and supplier expenses.
  • Lead and support the operations team by promoting accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain operational documentation, reporting, and workflows to support consistent delivery standards.
  • Ensure operational compliance with company procedures, governance, OH&S, and legal obligations.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, project coordination, events, or a similar operational environment.
  • Strong experience managing multiple operational activities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proven ability to coordinate suppliers, labour, travel, freight, and operational logistics effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and scheduling tools.
  • Experience with operational systems, reporting tools, or project management platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational risks and implement effective solutions.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Leadership capability with experience supporting or supervising operational teams.
  • Experience within the exhibitions, events, or related industries is highly desirable.
