The Operations Manager – Weekend Operations is responsible for leading and executing operations within a high-volume, 24/7 distribution center environment. This role provides weekend leadership oversight and ensures the efficient flow of product through the warehouse, maintaining operational continuity, safety, and service excellence.
This leader will oversee forklift operators, shipping and receiving clerks, yard hostlers, and partner closely with Inventory Control to drive accuracy and throughput. The Operations Manager is accountable for delivering against operational KPIs, meeting customer demand, and building high-performing teams aligned with Red Bull’s performance-driven culture and operational philosophies.
Job DescriptionOPERATIONAL EXECUTION & FLOW MANAGEMENT
Lead weekend operations across inbound, outbound, and yard activities to ensure consistent product flow and service delivery
Drive execution of daily operational plans, ensuring efficient movement of goods through the warehouse
Ensure customer demand is met through accurate, timely fulfillment and coordination across functions
Monitor and improve performance across key metrics including throughput, quality, stock, safety, accuracy, and service levels
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce errors
Oversee facility systems and procedures to improve efficiency, maintain safety, and protect the quality of operational deliverables
PEOPLE LEADERSHIP & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors & frontline teams, including forklift operators, shipping & receiving clerks, and yard hostlers
Partner with Inventory Control leadership to ensure alignment on inventory accuracy and operational execution
Partner with the Equipment/Maintenance leadership to ensure robotics, equipment, and facility systems are properly maintained and operating effectively to support safe, efficient operations
Hire, onboard, and develop talent to build a strong leadership pipeline and high-performing teams
Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and development planning to drive accountability and growth
Foster a culture of engagement, teamwork, and accountability across all shifts
SAFETY, COMPLIANCE & STANDARDS
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all company and regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, etc.)
Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
Conduct regular inspections and proactively address risks related to safety, compliance, and facility conditions
Partner with leadership to address compliance concerns and implement preventative actions
Ensure compliance with AIB standards and food safety programs to maintain product quality and regulatory readiness
INVENTORY ACCURACY & SYSTEMS
Partner with Inventory Control to ensure inventory integrity through accurate tracking and variance resolution
Utilize SAP and other systems to support accurate reporting and operational decision-making
Support accurate product ordering and variance resolution through SAP and related inventory systems
Ensure alignment between physical inventory and system data to support operational efficiency
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Analyze operational performance and implement improvements aligned with business goals
Balance service, cost, and quality to drive operational excellence
Support execution of business plans and contribute to the overall success of the distribution network
Forecast staffing, workload, and performance needs to align labor planning with business demand
Qualifications5+ years of experience in high-volume warehouse, distribution, or CPG operations
Proven experience leading frontline teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory processes
Experience working with operational systems (SAP preferred)
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, and similar standards)
High school diploma or GED required
Strong leadership and people development skills
Ability to operate effectively in a 24/7, high-demand environment
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communicator across frontline teams and leadership
High level of organization, accountability, and attention to detail

Additional InformationThe base salary range for this position is $74,400 - $112,000 + cash incentives.
