Position Summary
Internships are Monday through Friday for 40 hours a week. Operations Interns will work with our ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition) team to assist in all aspects of operations, including product receiving, inventory control, quality testing and shipping.
Responsibilities
- Learn how to use vendor required/specific software to test peripherals (LCD screens, processors, motherboards, memory, hard drives, etc)
- Organize, test, troubleshoot, repair and catalogue electronic hardware (servers, workstations, network equipment, computers and spare parts)
- Erase existing data from storage devices and reset devices to original factory specifications
- Provide updates to the status of purchase orders and expedite orders as necessary
- Adhere to all ESD requirements and recycling policies
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, electrical engineering or a related field
- Ability to work independently, multitask and communicate well in a deadline dependent environment
- Participation in extracurricular activities to demonstrate time management and multitasking skills
