POSITION SUMMARY
This role is required to be in office.
This role is part of Domo’s central Operations team, working closely with both operations and analytics functions. The Operations Intern will support the improvement and execution of core business processes, assist in managing operational data and reporting, and help drive cross-functional initiatives. The intern will work on 1-2 major projects over the course of the internship in addition to day-to-day operational support, gaining exposure to multiple business areas including Marketing and Sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pipeline Optimization: Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving data pipeline efficiency by maintaining and enhancing existing dataflows, as well as developing new visualizations to support analytical efforts. This role also offers opportunities to collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to advance these initiatives.
- Sports Analytics: Support a range of sports analytics and operations projects, with a focus on data pipeline development, application design using Domo's App Studio, and leveraging artificial intelligence to uncover new insights from data.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Pursuing a degree in business, operations management, analytics, statistics, data science, or a related field; OR recently graduated; OR relevant experience
- Familiarity with SQL and/or Python and/or R
- Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools preferred
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter and eager to learn
