The intern will work within the Operation department assisting the Operation Management with various tasks. The main focus will be assisting the Quality team with writing and modification of work instructions and documentation for the calibration of quality measuring equipment. Additionally, the intern will learn how to operate and utilize quality measuring equipment to verify product quality.
This position will also assist our Operations department with other activities including, but not limited to, quality, management, equipment support and production support. This position will work on internal projects to support the Operation department while working with the Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, Production Planning and Purchasing groups.
The intern will learn under mentors from the Operation department as well as other Astemo employees about advanced manufacturing and will be able to participate and witness the multifaceted potential careers that exist within Advanced Manufacturing and specifically at Astemo here in Hancock county.
- Assigned project for completion during duration of Internship.
- Day to day department project activity
- Assist with badge entry and other daily HSE duties
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be 18 years of age (or 17 years old with parental consent)
- Ability to work 3~4 hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Must have transportation to and from Greenfield, IN facility

- Ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 environmental management standards.

- Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting, standing, or walking around Production floor
