Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
The Operations and Hub Financial Analyst plays a vital role within the ELSP Americas hub by providing reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budgets, and forecasts. This position supports the ELSP Americas hub management and various stakeholders in their decision-making processes, ensuring that financial insights drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering collaboration, implementing standardized processes, and leading efforts to enhance financial planning and analysis. By upholding ABB's core values and commitment to integrity, the Operations and Hub Financial Analyst will contribute to the continuous improvement of financial controlling processes and tools, ultimately protecting and increasing the hubs's profitability.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the ELSP Hub in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Performs the analysis of the Smart Power Americas hub's financial results and coordinates the preparation of various management reports, including management performance reports, comments on financial statements, etc., on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Supports the evaluation of the impact of strategic, financial, or other major investment decisions. Drives and facilitates financial planning processes and activities (e.g., hub financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting).
Assists in the implementation of standardized processes and tools to support financial planning activities within the hub. Collaborates with the hub's factories to follow up on inconsistencies noted in management reporting information.
Contributes to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) initiatives for the Smart Power Americas hub. Collaborates in process improvement and cost-saving initiatives to protect and increase the hub's profitability.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Administration, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar disciplines.or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in a similar role or relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of ERP (SAP) FICO model, ETO (Engineer-to-Order) processes.
Fluent in English.
Proficient in using data analysis tools such as Power BI.
Background in Operations and/or Project Controlling, Marketing and Sales Controlling, or Finance.
Competitive, strong leadership skills, attention to detail, self-critical, and an excellent customer service attitude, curiosity and communication.
