Working across the breadth and scope of our Commercial Audio offering, this role has a dual focus.

Firstly, you will support the podcast portfolio from within Commercial Operations Delivery, with responsibility for the setup and administration of campaigns secured through Global’s newest acquisitions. You will ensure campaigns are implemented accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed processes.

In addition, you will work closely with the Commercial Inventory Operations team, supporting the management and resolution of campaign query tickets to enable faster turnaround times for the Audio teams.

You will be responsible for maintaining high customer service standards across both areas, ensuring seamless operational delivery for clients and internal stakeholders.

As an Operations Executive at Global, you will play a key role in delivering a smooth and consistent experience for our customers and partners.

You will collaborate with teams across the business — including Social Video, Audio Partnerships, Audio Scheduling, Brand Experience, Talent — ensuring they are effectively supported in achieving their operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

·       Podcast Systems & Process Management (40%) Take primary responsibility for supporting the operational setup and administration of podcast campaigns, particularly those secured through Global’s newest acquisitions. Ensure campaigns are accurately implemented across systems, meeting commercial agreements, timelines and quality standards. Identify opportunities to improve podcast workflow efficiency, from booking and asset management through to delivery and reporting. Work closely with Commercial Inventory Operations to streamline radio booking process, resolve queries from support tickets during the booking process and reduce campaign query turnaround times

·       Reporting & Operational Dependencies (20%) Ensure all podcast campaign data is accurately captured across relevant systems to support smooth delivery, billing and reporting. Work with internal stakeholders to manage operational dependencies linked to podcast campaigns, identifying and mitigating downstream impacts of changes or system updates. Support reporting requirements in collaboration with Analytics and Data teams where needed.

·       Onboarding & Process Enablement (25%) Support the rollout of new podcast initiatives, acquisitions, processes and tools across the Commercial and Audio teams. Provide clear guidance on podcast campaign setup, governance requirements, T&Cs and workflow processes to ensure consistency and adherence to operational best practice. Act as a go-to contact for operational queries relating to podcast delivery.

·       Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%) Build strong working relationships across Audio & Podcast Partnerships, Social Video, Scheduling, Brand Experience, Talent to support seamless podcast campaign execution. Act as a key operational link between Sales, Delivery and Fulfilment, ensuring podcast campaigns are delivered smoothly and in line with customer expectations and service standards.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Established ownership of podcast campaign setup and administration across new acquisitions, ensuring all new campaigns are implemented accurately and on time.

  • Built strong working relationships with Commercial Operations, Audio & Podcast Partnerships, Sales, Scheduling, Legal, Technology and Commercial Inventory Operations to enable smooth end-to-end podcast delivery.

  • Reviewed and mapped the current podcast operational workflow, identifying and implementing quick wins to improve efficiency and reduce friction.

  • Reduced campaign query turnaround times by complying with ticket management processes and contributing to clearer resolution pathways.

  • Ensured podcast campaign data is consistently and accurately captured across systems, supporting delivery, billing and reporting accuracy.

  • Provided clear operational guidance to Commercial teams on podcast processes, governance requirements, T&Cs and system usage for new aquisitions.

  • Supported the onboarding of any new podcast initiatives or acquisitions, embedding them into existing operational processes.

  • Identified key operational risks or system gaps impacting podcast delivery and proposed practical solutions for the new acquisitions.

  • Time & Workflow Management: Effectively prioritises multiple campaign setups and query tickets, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Continuous Learning: Keen to build knowledge of podcast operations, commercial systems and internal processes, applying feedback to improve performance.

  • Collaborative Working: Communicates clearly and professionally with Sales, Audio Partnerships, Scheduling, Legal, Technology and Commercial Inventory Operations to support seamless campaign execution.

  • Process Awareness: Understands the importance of accurate data capture and following agreed workflows to support billing, reporting and delivery.

  • Proactive Mindset: Suggests practical improvements to podcast processes to help reduce errors, speed up resolution times and enhance the customer experience.
