Purpose and main priorities of the role
We are looking for an Operational Excellence Specialist to join our growing Operation Excellence team at the Castelraimondo Plant. In this role, you will contribute to the plant’s continuous improvement and operational excellence journey, supporting the implementation of Lean methodologies and process optimization initiatives across manufacturing operations.
We are currently implementing a Lean transformation project with an external consulting company, and this role will be key in bringing it to life within the plant. You will act as a reference point and connector between the external consultants and internal teams, ensuring effective execution and embedding of Lean practices into daily operations.
You will also contribute to driving efficiency improvements, reducing operational waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams and plant leadership.
Your Responsibilities Include

  • Support and contribute to Lean Transformation projects across the plant, collaborating with local teams and external consultants to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Analyze, map, and optimize operational processes using structured problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
  • Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and prepare reports and presentations for management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key achievements.
  • Support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to process transformation and change management activities within the plant.
  • Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to identify improvement opportunities and support business priorities.
  • Contribute to performance analysis by connecting operational KPIs with plant financial results and productivity targets.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and improvement activities involving multiple stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support change management activities linked to process transformation and operational improvements.
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Engineering or STEM disciplines.
  • 3+ years of experience in Operations Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Lean Manufacturing roles.
  • Good knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to maintain a broad business perspective.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Dynamic, proactive, and curious attitude, with willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously on projects.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
