Job Summary
The ideal candidate will oversee the management and implementation of engineering change orders to ensure seamless integration into our production processes, promote and lead process improvements in Operations. This role requires a strong background in engineering, project management, and change management.
Essential Functions
- Leading cross-functional operational projects across Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering
- Driving process improvement initiatives aligned with Operation objectives
- Managing a direct team member
- Taking ownership over the implementation of ECOs, process execution, and performance tracking in operations
- Identify potential risks associated with ECOs and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols. Ensure all ECOs meet the required standards and specifications.
- Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders. Provide project updates, reports, and presentations as needed.
- Address and resolve issues related to ECOs promptly. Implement solutions to keep projects on track and ensure successful completion
- Maintain thorough documentation for all ECOs, including plans, progress reports, and final deliverables. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus. required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations project management, with a focus on engineering change management and OpEx. Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects.
- Previous experience in medical devices companies – a must.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified – an advantage
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in process writing, project management software and engineering tools relevant to the industry.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and implement effective and out-of-the-box solutions
- In-depth understanding of change management principles, best practices, and industry standards.
- Understanding of engineering principles, practices, and industry standards.
