Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operational Excellence Intern to support the Operational Excellence team in driving process improvement, documentation, data analysis, and project coordination activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to continuous improvement initiatives, quality management practices, and operational performance tracking within a real business environment.
Key Responsibilities- To involve, handle and improve 5S audit across departments
- To conduct process confirmation on existing process to find opportunities for improvement
- To draft, create and publish Standard Operations Procedure (SOP)
- To build relationship with all warehouse associates and Head of Department for OE events and programs
- To coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information and follow up on improvement actions.
- To be part of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS)
- To organize and execute events from Operational Excellence such as Recognition Ceremony
- To participate in process mapping, time studies, root cause analysis, and improvement workshops.
- To perform administrative tasks related to OE activities when required.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information and follow up on improvement actions.
- Any other work assign by the OE leader
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Quality Management, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or any related field.
- Good knowledge or interest in process improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, quality management, or operational performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, especially Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic data analysis and reporting skills are an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
- Able to work well with cross-functional teams.
