Job DescriptionAs an Operations Engineering Team Leader, you oversee team activities and ensure project success as well as:
- Build, develop and lead a Product Engineering teams organization in such a way that the business, operations, cost and quality targets can be obtained with strong business focus
- Management of assigned processes and KPIs, their development and optimizations
- Encourage close cooperation with the Recycling R&D team
- Ensure all technical operations processes and activities are efficiently communicated and coordinated internally and across all affected functions
- Closely cooperate with the development team at launching new products in production
- Cooperate with R&D in product development / modification / customization projects
- Support for implementation of engineering changes (ECNs) in time, their technical review for clear understanding in relevant departments and their follow up
- Suggest engineering changes and initiate and coordinate engineering projects.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, quality and cost to maintain profitability and competitiveness
- Support the production department by providing necessary equipment, tooling and processes, troubleshoot as needed. Revise tooling and fixtures when required; build new tools, tables, racks and fixtures as needed.
- Evaluate and approve all equipment required for production
- Analyze and solve engineering-related problems, follow-up on permanent corrective action plans to resolve any outstanding issues related to quality, production, equipment, customers
- Support and cooperation with Production, Quality, Purchasing and other departments
- University, 2nd level, electrical or mechanical field of study
- English and Slovak language, communication level
- Min 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering / 3+ years in leading / manager position
- Technical experience / knowledge in any of the fields of Electrical, Optical, SW, Mechanical Engineering
- MS Office - advanced user
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal communication, documentation and technical writing skills.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering practices and principles as well as understanding scientific methods of problem solving
