ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and cost modeling to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in Kaizen events and implement lean manufacturing tools (5S, visual management, standard work).
- Identify automation and improvement opportunities in manufacturing flow.
- Analyze process capability, stability, and performance in ongoing production.
- Support process design and optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to process validation and creation of technical documentation (work instructions, process specs).
- Assist with spare parts strategy development and asset lifecycle management.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited university/college
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); basic understanding of data analysis tools
- Interest in manufacturing, automation, and process improvement
- Prior experience with Lean tools, CAD, or programming (PLC/HMI) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a plant environment
