Oversee daily operations, plant maintenance, HSE, and security activities across assigned locations in multiple on site plants in Kulim.
Monitor production data and apply statistical methods to optimize processes, reduce costs, and meet specific customer KPIs.
Partner with maintenance teams to plan and execute schedules, track work order closures, and minimize unplanned downtime.
Enforce Safe Work Permits, Management of Change (MOC) protocols, and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
Track key performance indicators and review production reports to detect, investigate, and correct operational non-conformities.
Liaise with local authorities and align site activities with the Industrial Management System (IMS) and local legal regulations.
Manage inventory control of imported materials and track customer consumption to guarantee continuous, reliable product supply.
Provide direct training, guidance, and continuous qualification evaluations for onsite personnel in line with division procedures.
Serve as an Emergency Response Team member, providing second-level troubleshooting and technical advice during supply interruptions.
Maintain and continuously update critical plant documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical operating manuals.
Front customer meetings to present operational performance, address onsite issues, and align on project-related matters.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline).
Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in plant operations or Total Gas Management (TGM) operations, preferably within the industrial gas or semiconductor utilities sector.
Robust knowledge of industrial safety frameworks and requirements.
Ability to travel regularly to support multiple onsite operations around Kulim.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with, motivate, and effectively lead a collaborative team of technicians.
