The Operations Engineer will support the operations team by documenting and creating SOPs for a high-profile project, improving efficiency in warehouse processes, with an emphasis on collaboration and results.

The Role:

  • To play a leading role in a dynamic Engineering team delivering daily support to the Operations team and wider business group
  • To work with a state-of-the-art Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Quality Management System (QMS)
  • To identify areas of the WMS that need to be documented in SOPs or WIs going forward
  • To work on a high-profile project, working alongside multiple teams to create all the necessary documents to record processes and SOPs for future training of users
  • Assess and review all current SOPs & WIs and identify what documents need to be edited, updated or created for Project Dawn

Key Outcomes:

  • Develop an expertise in fundamental processes within the integrated warehouse management system
  • Work with the Engineering team to update/ create SOPs and WIs in line with the development of Project Dawn
  • Develop an expertise in the QMS used for all SOPs and WIs.

Key Skills & Experiences:

  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in the Pharma/FMCG sectors is an advantage ·
  • Lean Six Sigma qualification is an advantage
  • Results-oriented – must be able to bring projects to completion
  • Strong numerical & analytical skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to see problems as a challenge
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to get involved in all areas of Engineering, Facilities & operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Candidate must be team-oriented with the ability to work in cross-functional teams to accomplish goals set by the business.
