An opportunity for Manufacturing Engineering has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in San Pablo (Sevilla)

In a rapidly evolving environment, where data and Artificial Intelligence have become key drivers of transformation, we are offering an exciting opportunity to lead the design and implementation of the data strategy across Operations.

In this role, you will join the Process, Methods & Tools team within Manufacturing Engineering (TAOED), where you will play a key role in driving data transformation by enabling data-driven decision-making and leveraging advanced analytics and AI capabilities.

RESPONSABILITIES

You will mainly focus on two key challenges:

1. Define, develop and implement the data strategy across operations

You will be responsible for shaping and deploying the data strategy based on three fundamental pillars:

  • Data cleansing and organization, ensuring data quality, consistency and accessibility.
  • Development of the data infrastructure, enabling efficient data collection, management and exploitation.
  • Data exploitation through a range of techniques, including descriptive analytics, Artificial Intelligence and data visualization, to support decision-making and create business value.

     Main a accountabilities:

  • Identify Industrial Data needs for Industrial development and execution life cycle and define associated deployment strategy and its integration into an overall simulation chain connected to digital ecosystems covering Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality, Industrial Assets
  • Lead the operations ontology and data model definition, ensuring traceability through all the FU.IN and FU.PD value change, as well as the link to other transversal process, including but not limited to the interfaces with DV, SOURCE and Quality. 
  • Lead the business data governance operating model, including roles, policies, processes, and governance structure. Empower the data use culture with other operative areas in the business, including Design and Services. 

2. Support Processes, Methods & Tools

You will contribute to the definition, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Processes, Methods & Tools within the Industrialization and Produce & Deliver perimeter, helping to standardize best practices and enhance operational performance.

    Main a accountabilities:

  •  Define and support the manufacturing engineering strategy, processes and methods, deployment and end user support.
  • Define universal DATA model (Data object defition) for the current domain.
  • Responsible for definition and implementation of BMS FULFILL procedures, manuals and documents for the Legacy and New Programs (DDMS, Eurodrone, FCAS...) in accordance with the ME strategy Company´s qualified processes/standards.
  • Create and maintain the Airbus Business Processes and Procedures finding the optimization of ways of working to maximize value creation for customers, in a sustainable manner and in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements.

SKILLS:

Technical & Bussines

  • Desirable knowledge of E2E process for Manufacturing/operations engineering extended enterprise covering the industrialization phase.
  • Working background in the aerospace industry and experience in Manufacturing Engineering is al plus
  • Knowledge of the AIRBUS Group Divisions (Comercial, ADS,..).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
