YOUR WORK-LIFE OPPORTUNITY:
Join our team and become an integral part of Glovo's Global Logistics! We provide a dynamic and challenging environment filled with numerous opportunities for growth and development.
Support the optimization of the most important logistics feature, the courier payments engine, by maintaining and improving settings, quantifying their impact, providing data-driven insights, coordinating feature rollouts, and measuring their effectiveness. The KPIs you will influence are crucial to operations, as every decision made will directly affect the whole operational investment (biggest company cost).
BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:
- Continuously explore and refine key operational metrics (delivery time, efficiency, costs), gaining a comprehensive understanding of Glovo’s operations.
- Develop analytical frameworks and models, while effectively communicating with local/regional stakeholders, product teams and development teams
- Dive deep into data to identify key factors and actions to improve KPIs, taking accountability for outcomes.
- Explore and find the most optimal logistics payment structure in order to maximize global couriers engagement
- Support the operational courier payments engine migration (key project for the company)
- Continuously explore and refine key operational metrics (delivery time, efficiency, costs), gaining a comprehensive understanding of Glovo’s logistics.
- Build optimization processes to define the best tuning of every feature on each geography.
- Support recurrent processes within the team, enabling the adjustment of tools to business needs
- Provide analytical support to the logistics team for more than 22 countries, regional and local teams throughout deeper understanding of Glovo's operations model
YOU HAVE
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics or similar
- +1 year of professional experience outside of an academic and internship setting, in a quantitative analysis role
- Excellent SQL and Excel/GoogleSheet skills
- Python and experience working with analysis tools such as Pandas, SciPy, Scikit, Jupyter/iPython notebooks, R is highly valued
- Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, ...
- Strong strategic vision and business mindset
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Great spoken and written English
