Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Reports to: Base Manager

SUMMARY: To provide operational support to customers with technical product and/or services information. Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures, and business plans, solving complex problems of a recurring nature.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are the primary duties and responsibilities:
- Encourage all Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to strive toward achieving the goal of Target Zero, ensuring a workplace free from incidents and injuries.
- Job Context and Main Activities are Outline the context in which the job operates and record the types of activities involved in achieving principal accountabilities.
- Promote and support the allocation of necessary resources to achieve excellent QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment) performance across all operations.
- The job holder has direct accountability for all operations and services Area of Responsibility ensuring costs are controlled operation activities (products, equipment, maintenance etc.).
- To ensure that the required level of operational/technical experience is maintained and adequate training of staff is carried out.
- To ensures operation report an “operating plan” is agreed upon and goals and objectives are set jointly by the Region, Base Management and job holder.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in QSHE performance, fostering a proactive and accountable safety culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency while maintaining high safety standards.
- Support technology transfer and contribute to operational planning to enhance service delivery and innovation.
- Manage inventory and job operations within Thailand, ensuring timely execution and resource availability.
- Establish and maintain systems for measuring operational performance, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Lead and develop direct reporting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with executive teams to evaluate and improve operational strategies aligned with business goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, promoting consistency and accountability.
- Oversee equipment and facility maintenance programs to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Promote company products and services within the assigned area of responsibility to support business growth.
RELATIONSHIPS:
- Other Field Service Reps; Suppliers, Customer office and well site-based supervisors and engineers responsible for planning and job execution.
- Maintains a close working relationship with the Country Management, ensuring that a high level of support is forthcoming to aid short- and long-term activities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil field business, including at least 7 years in operations.
- Strong in English speaking, reading, written skill.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and travel by air, sea, and land.
JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.
- Valid passport, and driver’s license.
- Willingness to work in Thailand and travel as needed.
- Familiarity with SSHE standards and IMS 9001/14001/45001 procedures.
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.
- Experience in customer engagement, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER BEING HIRED:
- Actively ensures that his/her own health & safety, and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers are preserved at all times.
- Ensures full awareness of and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant Company/Customer HSE Handbooks, procedures and emergency procedures.
- Propose and gain approval for long and short term plans for all operations within Thailand (Defined as “Area of Responsibility”) enabling the Company’s commercial and financial objectives to be met.
- Contact customers within his Area of Responsibility to enhance and promote Company products/services, negotiate new business and assist in the ultimate signing of contracts.
- Co-ordinate operation and services activities within the Area of Responsibility business unit.
- Develop operational policies and procedures, which will ensure Area of Responsibility continues as a dynamic and profitable business.
- Identify with, and understand the client’s requirements by means of promoting, exposing and creating awareness of our product offerings throughout Area of Responsibility
- Ensure that key positions within the Operations group of the Area of Responsibility are staffed with the caliber of people who are motivated to meet the Company’s operating requirements.
- Contact customers to enhance and promote Company products and services and to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operation.
- Direct short- and long-range equipment and facility maintenance program within his Area of Responsibility. Have equipment in a state of readiness thereby providing the customer with the best possible products/service and obtaining the maximum life of equipment consistent with the lowest possible cost.
- Ensure operational activities with Area of Responsibility comply with the company’s policy and procedures and are performed in a cost-effective manner, maximizing the use of Company resources.
- Manage, motivate and discipline subordinates, enforce Company policy rules and regulations. Maintain efficient and harmonious employee-employer relations.
- Ensure that immediate subordinates meet the objectives set and provide them with guidance and support to help them achieve required results.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and important suppliers so that Area of Responsibility can meet its objectives.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Working environment will result in employee being exposed to various weather conditions in an outdoor environment, sun, heat, wind cold, rain and etc
- Employee will be expected to heed weather conditions and prepare accordingly. Safety and harsh weather condition clothing and work related safety accessories will be provided where necessary
- Employee may be required to work and travel in confined spaces and in climate and non-climate controlled service centers. All appropriate precautions will be taken to ensure the facilities conform to HSE standards and regulations.
- Employee may be required to travel by air, sea, and public/private ground transport.
- Employee will be required to work at both onshore and offshore oil and gas well sites.
