Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations by managing commercial garbage routing, conducting route audits, and tracking disposal location utilization. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with strong administrative and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, update, and optimize commercial garbage routes.
• Conduct route audits to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Track carryovers and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor disposal location utilization and provide regular reporting.
• Perform various administrative duties as assigned, supporting both the operations team and frontline staff.
• Interpret and analyze maps for routing and service area planning.
• Collaborate professionally with office personnel and frontline employees.
• Travel as needed for training and operational support.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand maps and routing software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to travel occasionally for training or fieldwork.
• Experience in waste management, logistics, or a similar field is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer.
• Occasional travel to field locations or training facilities.
