The Position
Keyera is currently seeking a Senior NGL Logistics Scheduler to join our Calgary based Commercial Operations team. This position will be responsible for scheduling product movements relating to Keyera NGL fractionation and storage business. The individual will proactively monitor pipeline, rail, fractionation, storage, loading and offloading activities as well as spec product movements. The individual will be responsible for ensuring required information is effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders and will also provide back-up support for other functions in the logistics group as required.
Responsibilities
Actively manage pipeline, rail, and facility nominations.
Track and analyze shipper nominations to ensure contractual alignment and capacity availability.
Monitor storage levels for all 3rd parties at designated facilities.
Schedule and manage all 3rd party rail business and positions.
Provide detailed reporting on customer activities as well as ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Actively track product transfers within and between adjoining facilities as well as associated pipeline, rail, and truck shipments.
Distribute storage, truck and rail lifting reports.
Month-end reporting and reconciliations.
Assist in coordinating and managing facility outages.
Communicate effectively with customers as well as working with internal teams to optimize assets.
Provide back-up support for other functions in the logistics group as required.
Weekend on- call rotation is part of this role.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic, and service oriented leader with the following qualifications:
Previous related work experience in NGL operations is a requirement.
Ability to process multiple transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
5 or more years of experience dealing with monthly nominations, 3rd party Storage, inventory positions, exposure to trucking and rail scheduling.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organization skills.
Ability to ensure detailed product flows are managed within the broader context of facility capabilities, varied contractual obligations, and changing operational conditions.
Advanced computer skills in Excel and Microsoft word.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field; Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
Working knowledge of marketing and logistics systems (ie. eONE and GeoMetrix) is an asset.
