As an Operations Coordinator at Nightfall, you will provide day to day operational support, including coordination and logistics across programs. This could include new hire onboarding, culture building & events, performance management, and others. You will wear many hats and work at both the strategic and tactical level, project managing key cross functional initiatives and designing new programs; finding, recruiting, onboarding new team members; and being a key advisor to hiring managers. You will provide support across the People and Operations teams and will help maintain and cultivate our culture as we scale.
Location: You must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work out of our office 3 days a week for this role.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with and provide administrative and strategic support to the founders, assisting with operational execution and ad hoc projects
- Project manage company-wide initiatives, including performance management cycles, on and offboarding, event planning, office and equipment management, etc
- Own full-cycle recruiting by sourcing and engaging both active and passive candidates, performing initial interview calls, and managing candidates throughout the hiring process while working closely with and serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers
- Collaborate across teams to improve internal processes, drive efficiencies, and enhance overall employee experience
Qualifications
- 1+ years of program coordination, project management, or operations experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset; motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in new situations, pick up new skills, and do what it takes to get the job done
- Detail oriented and experience managing complex projects while demonstrating exceptional business judgment and building relationships internally across the company and with external vendors
- Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally
- Comfort with ambiguity, and an ability to both delve into details and engage meaningfully on overall strategy
- Experience in a startup, consulting, or similar environment
