Operations Coordinator/Production Control Coordinator
Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Position Summary
The Production Control Coordinator must be highly skilled at working with cross-functional departments to coordinate efforts and clear roadblocks which may interfere with the production and site construction schedules. The ideal candidate for this position should be experienced in the scheduling and coordination of efforts within a technology manufacturing operation while possessing the ability to help drive on-time delivery of quality products to customers.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate production schedules for manufacturing of hydrogen generation components and assemblies
- Work closely with supply chain to ensure material needed to meet production schedule is on-hand and consistent with quality specifications
- Manage the work order process from start to finish in order to meet the customer required delivery dates in the master schedule
- Facilitate new product release and ensure the related configuration to the ERP system before beginning production efforts
- Identify, prepare, submit and oversee ERP system change requests
- Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Excellent attention to detail and an aptitude for ensuring accuracy in data processing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and experience in data input, validation, and retrieval within such systems.
- Proven expertise in using Microsoft Suite applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- 2-5 years of materials planning experience in a manufacturing environment; preferred experience in a scheduling capacity for a technology product line
- Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team atmosphere
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Results-oriented and driven work style
- Excellent task-oriented follow-through
