MatX is on a mission to make the world’s best AI models run as efficiently as possible, bringing the world years ahead in AI quality and availability. We are looking for someone to work collaboratively with our operations team, senior team and company to ensure we build an efficient and effective organization positioned well for growth. This is a generalist operator role for a rapidly growing early-stage company.
As a member of the operations team, under the direction of the managers, the Ops Coordinator’ primary focus will be to ensure that the office is running smoothly and that each employee has what they need to be effective in their work. This person will also support our Talent Acquisition efforts by assisting with interview scheduling, candidate pipeline management and updating our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse. This person will also partner with the Ops Manager to plan and execute internal and external events aimed at reinforcing our company culture and engaging potential candidates, partners and clients in working with MatX in the future. Given that MatX is continuing to evolve as we grow, this person will also be asked to jump in with ad hoc projects that will expand the Coordinator’s scope, provide learning opportunities and enable our team to move forward.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide office management support for our suite including office furniture and decor, food and beverages, technical support alongside IT resources, building & suite access management, etc.
- Support the Ops Manager, hiring teams and candidates in the talent acquisition process ensuring that interviews occur in a timely manner and that the hiring process moves smoothly and efficiently internally and for candidates. Pave the way for a smooth transition from interviews to onboarding, as appropriate.
- Alongside the Ops Manager, provide benefits administration support during open enrollment periods and ongoing as questions/needs from employees arise.
- Work with the Operations team and senior leadership on assorted corporate communications initiatives.
- Coordinate and execute on company events, alongside the Operations team.
- Provide scheduling support for our Executive team.
- Additional responsibilities that will come up on ad-hoc basis.
Preferred background:
- Experience in operations, HR, program management, event management, communications, accounting or other fields that would set someone up for success in this role, a plus
