Your role and responsibilities
The Operations Coordinator provides cross-functional support to ensure the efficient operation of the facility. Working closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Maintenance, Shipping & Receiving, and support teams, this role helps coordinate daily operational activities and drive process efficiency.
The work model for the role is: ON SITE
- Coordinate and support operational planning, scheduling, and cross-functional activities.
- Prepare, maintain, and communicate reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
- Support purchasing activities, including purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, and delivery tracking.
- Coordinate maintenance activities, service requests, and facility-related initiatives.
- Support shipping, receiving, and logistics operations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
- Maintain operational records, databases, and ERP/system data.
- Track non-conformances (NCRs) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate administrative activities, including visitor access, office supplies, and facility support.
- Assist with special projects and other operational priorities as required.
Qualifications
- DEC in Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field (asset).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a coordination role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- ERP or manufacturing systems experience is an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and autonomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented, professional, and results-driven.
- Team player with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
