What You’ll Do:

We’re looking for a highly motivated Operations Coordinator to join our European Operations Team based in Pernes-les-Fontaines, France. This role is essential in helping us manage and move the logistics behind our world-class travel experiences. You'll be an integral part of a team that delivers over 600 vehicles, thousands of bikes, and hundreds of trailers to more than 20 countries across Europe, supporting our trips throughout the spring, summer, and fall seasons.

You’ll be based at Pernes les Fontaines (Vaucluse) hub, which includes several buildings throughout Pernes. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic crew including mechanics, vehicle fleet coordinators, and seasonal workers, while also liaising regularly with internal teams like Trip Development, Scheduling, and Finance.

Specific tasks include:

  • Support trailer overhaul and refurbishment projects
  • Assist with the construction and setup of new trailers
  • Assist in installing ,maintaining, and repairing van racks
  • Travel to other European regions to support maintenance of trailers, vans, and operational equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on operational equipment
  • Support upkeep and improvement projects across the Pernes-les-Fontaines campus
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs at Backroads buildings and residences in France and other European hubs
  • Help identify maintenance needs and recommend practical solutions
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
  • Organize and maintain order across our various warehouses

What You will Need:

  • Good spoken and written English
  • French language skills preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience with vehicle, trailer, or equipment maintenance
  • General construction, maintenance, or handyman skills
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Valid driving license and clean driving record
