State Group Automation is seeking an Operations Coordinator to work remotely within the United States. This is a six-month contract position with the possibility of an extension based on business needs and performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
-
Support field operations by coordinating employee schedules, shifts, travel, and staffing needs.

Serve as a primary point of contact for field employees, helping resolve operational and scheduling issues.

Review and audit timesheets, job-site expenditures, and related documentation for accuracy, proper coding, and authorization.

Reconcile employee timesheets with customer billing, approved hours, rates, project budgets, and contractual requirements.

Partner with accounting and operations teams to research and resolve discrepancies related to payroll, invoicing, and hours worked.

Coordinate new-hire onboarding, including system access, travel arrangements, and initial job-site assignments.

Collect, track, and report operational data and key performance indicators, including labor utilization, cost variance, and project progress.

Maintain accurate and organized records for purchase orders, amendments, invoicing, and other client documentation to support audits and financial accuracy.

Follow all safety requirements, promote a positive safety culture, and support process improvement and other operational priorities as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

3+ years of experience in finance/accounting.

ERP and HRIS experience.

Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience reviewing and approving timesheets.

Knowledge of accounting laws, practices, and procedures.

Experience with purchase orders and invoicing.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

People management or supervisory experience.
