The Position
Support the Global Security Operations department in development and execution of departmental strategic and operational plans and processes to support the current and future cyber security objectives within of the company.
Assist with strategic processes in Global Information Security from an operational perspective ensuring timeliness and appropriate alignment with relevant functions in Global Information Security (GIS).
Coordinate continuous improvement activities to ensure GSO functions are set up to think big/be bold, cut complexity and being agile in order to better meet the company objectives. Develop and lead departmental communication strategy and ensure execution of communications through all relevant channels, to provide insight and understanding of GSO activities and strategic objectives.
Support the continued development of departmental performance measures and metrics aligned to GIS strategies. Assist with data collection and support strategies to ensure appropriate data is available to inform decision making by CDOR leadership about current and future departmental direction. Assist with project management for critical projects in GSO. Provide support to Head of GSO as needed and act as an ambassador for the department.
Relationships
This position reports to the VP/Head of Global Security Operations. Additional key internal relationships include other GSO managers in USA, Denmark and India as well as the Novo Nordisk CISO, GIS Management Team and support staff. External relationships include multiple vendors, consultants and partners.
Essential Functions

  • Assist the GSO VP and the management team (GISMGMT) in driving the area's cross-organisational strategy activities in accordance with the strategic targets
  • Support budgeting and financial coordination across the department
  • Lead meeting coordination and stakeholder management activities
  • Coordinate the implementation of new initiatives and improvement projects and assist with the development and maintenance operational procedures and standards in collaboration with key global stakeholders
  • Help to ensure a high state of compliance to company policies and procedures within the global GSO organization
  • Assist with the coordination and planning for training and education activities
  • Coordinates generation of reports and oversees departmental information gathering and dissemination for all audits and compliance related activities


Physical Requirements
0-5% overnight or international travel may be required.
Qualifications

  • A Bachelor 's degree required
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible relevant experience required
  • Demonstrated excellent communication (written, verbal and presentations) and stakeholder management skills with cross-functional team interaction
  • Excellent collaborator with ability to build and maintain relationships with people at all levels of the organization
  • Strong strategic mindset, understanding of market needs and demonstrated understanding of legal and regulatory environment of pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated analytical skills. Capability to turn data into insights and provide recommended actions based on a solid knowledge of the business
  • Excellent computer skills and strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and such
  • Self-confident with a growth-mindset and continually focused on product improvement, innovation and results. Ability to engender trust and respect of peers and superiors
  • Presentable, highly articulate, goal-oriented, with high integrity and strong ethics
