Company Description
The Operations Controller will lead operations planning, reporting and analysis for Red Bull Distribution Company. The position requires daily use of multiple planning and analysis applications that help ensure financial transparency to executive management. You will act as a Finance Business Partner to the VP Operations, and the Regional Directors of Operations (RDOP’s). A key element of this role will be to build cross-departmental relationships to aid in the planning, reporting, and analyzing fleet, warehouses, inventory, and operating costs across RBDC. You will also coach and train other RBDC employees in financial acumen, concepts and processes.
Job Description
PLANNING, REPORTING AND ANALYSIS
Support the Director of Finance & Controlling with monthly reporting and analysis of operations results, preparing variance analyses against PY, BP and Revised Forecasts.
Develop collaborative relationships with Operations team to build reasonable and realistic forecasts for goods destroyed, fleet, buildings, OPEX and CAPEX.
Lead monthly review calls for 48+ profit centers with the key business stakeholders to review and analyze Operations Cost to Serve and Inventory/Goods Destroyed management.
Own monthly analysis and work with VP Operations and RDOP’s on identifying areas of improvement
Responsible for timely issuance of all assigned monthly and weekly reports
Assist the SVP Finance in developing a monthly Financial Reporting Package for leadership team
Lead various planning/reporting workstreams, including but not limited to: Inventory, Uniforms, Fleet/Facilities,
FINANCIAL SYSTEM USAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Become a power user, perform administration, maintenance, and data input into source systems (SAP, BI, and Hyperion)
Perform Operations focused Month End Close tasks, including inventory reconciliation/reporting.
Become subject matter expert of controlling and reporting applications to deliver financial transparency, accountability, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Utilize the Excel, Access, Tableau, and source systems to develop insightful reporting and analysis that will drive efficiencies in the business.
Enter company financial forecasts and planning information into source systems.
Work with RBNA during the financial planning calendar, meeting all critical deadlines.
Ensure financial processes and routines are consistent across all RBDC locations.
Coach and train the less experienced peers and colleagues on financial systems and reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or an applicable analytical field from an accredited college or university is required.
5+ years of relevant work experience in financial analysis or controlling
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Proficient with pivot tables, table arrays, decision trees, and/or hierarchies
Manage significant amounts of data to be analyzed
Strong analytical skills and adept at identifying trends and variances
Experience of independently managing projects and delivering results on-time, accurately, and successfully
SAP ERP (R/3 or S/4)
Hyperion or HFM experience
Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, SQL VBA or similar analysis tool
Knowledge of the CPG/DSD industry is a plus
Additional Information
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $85,360 to $128,040 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
