As our Operations Associate, you will support the day-to-day operations and administrative needs of our Freiburg office. This is a hands-on, junior role perfect for recent graduates who want to learn how startups operate from the inside. Working closely with the team and founders, you'll handle accounting, admin, office coordination, and people operations logistics that keep our company running smoothly.

This dynamic role offers broad exposure across various functions, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on our company's operational excellence and efficiency.

• Operational & Project Support: Support operational projects by assisting with coordination, timely delivery, and clear communication

• Financial Administration: Process invoices, handle expense reporting, and support budgeting and cash flow management

• Office Management: Maintain office environment, coordinate with vendors, manage supplies and logistics

• People Operations Support: Assist with hiring logistics, onboarding coordination, and team engagement initiatives

• General Operations: Assist in managing day-to-day operational workflows, organize events, and support ad-hoc projects as needed

You're a resourceful, adaptable, and self-driven individual with a strong bias for action, eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced startup environment. We’re looking for someone with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Essential Background:

• Recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field

• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required; German is a plus)

• A proactive and hands-on approach to tackling challenges and learning new things

• Comfort with detail-oriented work and administrative tasks

• A genuine passion for startups, technology, and building efficient systems

What Makes You Special (Preferred Qualifications):

• Previous experience in an operational, administrative, or coordination role, preferably in a high-growth startup environment or VC / management consulting.

• Familiarity with productivity software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite)

• Experience with accounting software or financial administration

• Interest in event organization or coordinating internal company activities

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Notion)

• Background in or familiarity with machine learning, data science, or related technical fields is a plus, but not required
