SUMMARY
The Operations Associate is an entry level position within Deposit Operations responsible for supporting the daily operations functions of the department and the bank. This position performs routine processing, verification, documentation, and administrative duties while developing knowledge of Deposit Operations processes, systems, policies, and regulatory requirements.
This position is designed to provide foundational experience within Deposit Operations and may be cross trained in multiple operational functions based on department needs, employee development, and demonstrated proficiency
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Lockbox processing
• Debit Card inventory production and fulfillment activities
• Mobile wallet provisioning notifications.
• Return mail management
• ICS/CDARS statements and imaging
• Follow established security, confidentiality, dual-control, and internal-control procedures.
• Assist with research and resolution of routine operational questions.
• Learn Bank systems, products, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements associated with assigned responsibilities.
• Participate in cross-training within Deposit Operations to develop proficiency in additional functions and provide back-up support as needed.
• Assist with testing, documentation, and other departmental initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information; follow established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous banking/financial services preferred but not required
• Basic proficiency with computers and standard business applications.

Employees are expected to develop proficiency in assigned primary responsibilities and may receive cross-training in additional operational function based on business needs, demonstrated competency, and career development opportunities.
• Responsibilities may evolve as the employee gains experience and as the operational needs of the bank change.
