Summary/Function:
The Customer Reporting Associate maintains client account information including cost basis updates, support of performance reporting and participates in the process of client monthly statement production and distribution. Will aid and support Wealth Management and work with other areas within Operations to ensure client accounts report clear and accurate activity details.

Duties:
• Maintain client cost basis information on the cost basis reporting system in accordance with IRS cost basis regulations
• Research and update cost basis, transferring both internally and externally
• Manage daily report monitoring and updating as needed
• Monitor the transferring of cost basis and update client accounts; work on internal and external client transfers, including but not limited to, ACAT and Non-ACAT transfers
• Achieve a basic knowledge of the client statements and confirms.
• Achieve a basic knowledge of securities and security master.
• Participate in the production and processing of the monthly client statement; maintain security pricing, perform price research and follow the pricing policy:
o Works with outside third-party pricing vendors and Supervisor/Manager
o High level of responsibility; pricing securities and maintaining the accuracy of this information requires significant attention to detail and knowledge
• Answer client statement, confirm and performance reporting questions:
o Works with Wealth Management and outside vendor.
• Review and interpret tax consequences of reorganizations and other corporate actions.
o Works with the Reorg Department, and outside third-party resources to determine how the reorganization should be run
o Involves interpreting and updating client accounts for corporate actions
• Perform any other duties as assigned
