This unique part-time opportunity allows you to work directly with operational leaders while developing practical skills in AI-enabled workflows, process improvement, data analysis, auditing, and business operations. Best of all, the schedule is flexible, designed to accommodate other professional, educational, or personal commitments.
 
Position Summary
 
The Operations Assistant supports healthcare operations by assisting with the development, testing, implementation, and administration of artificial intelligence (AI) workflows, technology-assisted audit tools, and operational support resources. Working closely with operational leadership and cross-functional teams, this role contributes to projects that improve efficiency, consistency, compliance, and decision-making across the organization.
 
What You'll Do
  • Assist with the development, testing, and validation of AI-driven workflows and tools.
  • Review and analyze technology-assisted audit results and operational reports.
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and compliance.
  • Support organizational initiatives involving automation, reporting, and technology adoption.
     
What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, AI tools, or process improvement is a plus but not required.

Schedule & Location
  • Part-time, hourly position based at the Heritage Operations Group corporate office.
  • Approximately 12 hours per week (flexible schedule)
  • Additional hours may be available during summer months, with opportunities to work up to 30 hours per week based on organizational needs and project demands.
  • In-person position at our Bloomington, IL corporate office.
