The Operations and Sales Executive – Marine Lubricants is responsible for driving profitable sales growth, managing customer relationships, and strengthening the company’s position within the marine lubricants market. The role focuses on supporting shipowners, operators, managers, and charterers by delivering reliable lubricant solutions while navigating complex global supply chains, pricing dynamics, and regulatory requirements.

This position requires a commercial mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑moving, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, and margin targets within the assigned region or customer portfolio.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key marine customers, including shipowners, operators, technical managers, and charterers.

  • Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into long‑term customers through proactive engagement and value‑based selling.

  • Assist with commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts, tenders, and long‑term supply agreements.

  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and pricing trends to protect margins and maintain competitiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • 1 - 2 years experience in sales or commercial roles within marine lubricants, marine fuels, shipping, or related maritime industries is preferred but not essential.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field preferred but not essential.

  • Fluent in English

  • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.

  • Ability to operate under pressure and manage complex customer situations.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail in pricing, margins, and contracts.

  • High degree of professionalism, credibility, and customer focus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/sales reporting tools.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements

  • Based in Greece, working from the Gylfada office 3 days a week and remote for 2 days.

  • Some European travel should be expected.
