Role Overview

The Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on operational and supply chain performance across the organization to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory, Product Development, Channel Management, and other cross-functional teams to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights that improve efficiency and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about solving operational challenges through data. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy translating complex information into meaningful business recommendations.

Responsibilities

Operations & Supply Chain Performance Analysis

  • Monitor operational and supply chain performance across all areas of the organization through key metrics and KPIs including product damage rates, production efficiency, return rates, shrinkage, freight costs, 3PL performance, and other operational measures.

  • Analyze trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations that support operational efficiency and cost reduction.

  • Support performance monitoring across inventory, fulfillment, logistics, and supply chain functions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Channel Management, Product Development, Inventory, Operations, and Supply Chain to support the development and implementation of data-driven initiatives.

  • Ensure alignment between reporting, operational objectives, and business goals.

  • Communicate insights, recommendations, and performance updates to stakeholders across the organization.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Utilize existing data infrastructure to build, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards that support operational initiatives and business objectives.

  • Support reporting needs across departments and provide ad hoc analyses as required.

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms and operational systems.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) between the Analytics team and dependent departments.

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of and support company vision, values, standards, policies, procedures, operating instructions, and confidentiality standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in an operations, supply chain, logistics, or operations-related role.

  • 2+ years of experience in an analyst or analytics-related role.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain and operational performance metrics.

  • Experience working with ERP, WMS, PIM, or similar business systems.

  • Proficiency with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quantitative mindset.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload based on business needs.

  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within an ecommerce or omnichannel retail environment.

  • Knowledge of or experience supporting third-party marketplaces.

  • Experience working with inventory management, fulfillment operations, logistics, or supply chain analytics.
