Job Summary
Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
The Team lead is responsible for daily execution of warehouse functions specific to all facets of warehouse operations .The Team Lead must be self-motivated, promote good morale and productivity, and maintain a high level of communication with their team and the 1st/2nd Shift Supervisor. Position reports to the 1st/2nd Shift Supervisor, working as part of the Southaven management team to drive continuous improvement using metrics to achieve logistics excellence in service, quality and cost.
This position requires the ability to perform all responsibilities in a safe, accurate and timely manner in accordance with Safety policy & procedures, Quality and the principles of 6S3Q, and time standards. Regular attendance is a mandatory requirement due to the nature of the role. The schedule for this role is Sunday - Thursday, 8 p.m. - 5 p.m., and overtime as needed.

ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
- Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights for improving inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and inventory replenishment plans. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate inventory management processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimization and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory performance metrics, including inventory turns, cycle counts accuracy, and fill rates, to track progress and support decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management and control.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Logistics, Purchasing, and Operations to coordinate inventory-related activities and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, or operations analysis preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with inventory management software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
