Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an Operations Analyst to provide technical writing, cybrarian, and knowledge management Support. This position is in support of US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM)
This is a full-time position located at Offutt AFB, NE
Responsibilities
Technical Writing and Document Preparation
- Draft, edit, format, proofread, and finalize requirements management documents supporting new software capabilities.
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as meeting agendas, read-aheads, decision papers, requirements artifacts, standard operating procedures, implementation plans, briefing materials, correspondence, and status reports.
- Incorporate Government-provided comments and stakeholder inputs into draft and final deliverables.
- Maintain document production schedules and coordinate timely staffing, review, and release of deliverables.
Meeting and Notetaking Support
- Attend meetings, working groups, demonstrations, integrated product team sessions, and other functional-management forums as directed.
- Develop meeting agendas and read-ahead packages when requested.
- Record accurate meeting notes, decisions, action items, risks, issues, dependencies, and assigned responsibilities.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and action-item trackers within established timelines.
- Follow up with designated stakeholders to obtain status updates on assigned actions, as directed by the Government lead.
Knowledge Management and Cybrarian Support
- Apply Cybrarian practices to organize, curate, preserve, and improve access to functional-management knowledge resources.
- Serve as a repository manager by uploading, organizing, indexing, archiving, retrieving, and maintaining access to approved documents and reference materials.
- Maintain a functional library of software capability artifacts, reference materials, policies, lessons learned, training materials, and historical records.
Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility Education: High School Diploma Years of Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant program and operations experience
- Demonstrated experience in technical writing, editing, document preparation, meeting support, or administrative/project support.
- Experience managing electronic document repositories, shared collaboration sites, records, libraries, or knowledge-management systems.
- Ability to organize complex information, maintain version control, and produce accurate, professional written products under deadline.
- Proficiency with common office productivity and collaboration tools, including word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, scheduling, and document-management applications.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and coordinate professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, grammar, formatting, records organization, and data accuracy.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of War, Federal Government, defense acquisition, software development, digital modernization, or enterprise information technology programs.
- Familiarity with Agile, iterative software development, requirements management, capability delivery, or product-management processes.
- Knowledge of records management, information governance, and knowledge management principles.
- Experience preparing executive-level briefings, decision-support materials, and formal staff products.
