Are you seeking for an opportunity to transition your career into Operations functions within the banking industry? Now, it's your chance to join our Operations Analyst Program where you will be given a comprehensive training to introduce you to our firm, our practices and our culture. This two-year program is direct placement into the Operations functions within one of our line of businesses (i.e. Market, Securities Services, etc.) under Commercial and Investment Banking business.
As an Analyst within our Commercial and Investment Banking Operations team, you will play an integral role in the Operations organization. You will help ensure the business runs effectively and efficiently, supporting the firm's functions and managing the end-to-end process of all core production and client-servicing activities. You will join an Operations team within one of our line of businesses or corporate functions, growing your business-specific expertise while being fully ingrained within the team's day-to-day activities. This role provides an opportunity to make a clear impact for the organization and our clients
As part of the Operations Analyst Program, you will work in a collaborative environment that teaches you how the Operations function helps deliver core services to the firm and its clients. The goal is to assist you in building a long-term career in our Operations division and help with its continued growth. You will make an impact in the Operations area supporting various businesses including by not limited to Markets and Securities Services.
Job responsibilities:
- Assist with the end-to-end management ofthe clientonboarding experience
- Be responsible for processing and investigating client transactions for a variety of productssuch as equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities
- Provide data analytics and reporting support for operational functions
- Analyze reference data to help support trading
- Optimize processes in collaboration with Technology teams
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's Degree holder
- Less than 4 years of work experience in any field
- Team player able to work in a collaborative, pressurized and changing environment
- Detailed- orientated with strong critical thinking, attention to detail and analytical skills and ability to challenge the status quo
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with Japanese and English language
- Individual who can work effectively to identify problems and collaborate with teams to develop and drive solutions
- An understanding of Japanese culture and client servicing expectations
- Innovative mindset willing to use Intelligent Automation tools such as Alteryx, Ui-path, and Tableau to help drive change in our business
