About Pale Blue Dot:
Pale Blue Dot provides strategic operations and finance advisory services to consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. Our offerings include fundraising advisory, financial planning and analysis, financial strategy and leadership, supply chain management, sales and marketing operations support, and development of near- and long-term strategies in partnership with senior leadership. The team is led by founder Russell Kohn, who has extensive experience in building and launching CPG brands.
The Operations Analyst will report to the Director of Operations and work closely with other members of the Pale Blue Dot team, as well as interact with clients on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order validation and entry into ERP and Inventory Systems
- Work with 3rd party warehouses to schedule and confirm inventory
- movements, reconciling inventory quantities and lot codes
- Assist in freight booking and coordination of inventory movements
- Leverage internal task management software to follow detailed client-by-client
- order fulfillment processes
- Documenting exceptions and issues outside of regular processes and
- escalating within the team
- Support other operations activities as needed
Ideal Experience:
- 2+ years of order processing and/or logistics experience
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Prior work in role that supported multiple clients a plus
- Prior work with ERP and WMS platforms a plus
