The Operations Analyst at Vertafore is responsible for reporting, analysis, and driving insights as well as associated administrative support for the Professional Services department of the business.
This role requires understanding the internal systems for PS and how they are used, collaborating across teams, and ensuring the PS organization is running as effectively as possible through data driven insights and administrative support.
The ideal candidate would excel in an ever changing and fast paced environment, is quick to learn new software tools, and is highly proficient in Excel as well as proficient in Power Query/Power Pivot.
Prior experience in NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:• Create and maintain reports for Professional Services across Operations. These reports are used by all levels within Professional Services, as well as used by the C-Suite and other departments.• Large scope of reporting responsibilities, from daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and dashboards up to board level slide decks.• Investigate operational needs, problems and opportunities, provide data-driven analysis to collaborate with the broader PS Ops and PS team to create and present solutions.• Responsible for data integrity and structure in systems used by Vertafore Professional Services.
Qualifications: • Highly proficient with excel• Proficient in Power Query/Power Pivot or equivalent Business Intelligence tool.• Hands-on experience with Project Management tools, Netsuite, Salesforce, SmartSheet, etc.• An innate drive to solve complex problems, collaborate with others and mentor team members• Demonstrated ability to produce well-written and succinct data analysis and process documentation to stakeholders
Additional Requirements and Details:• Located and working from an office location (when required)*• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.• Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).• Frequent sitting and/or standing.

The Professional Services (PS) and Customer Success (CX) bonus plans are a quarterly monetary bonus plan based upon individual and practice performance against specific business metrics. Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.
The Vertafore Incentive Plan (VIP) is an annual monetary bonus for eligible employees based on both individual and company performance. Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.
Commission plans are tailored to each sales role but common components include quota, MBO's and ABPMs. Salespeople receive their formal compensation plan within 30 days of hire.
