Operations Analyst – Wholesale

In this role as an advisor and collaborator, you will be part of a growing and evolving area of Supply Chain & Wholesale by providing insightful expertise on wholesale operations, programs and projects.  You will support the operationalization of new wholesale programs for customers and suppliers by developing and reporting on measurements that guide process improvements and improve sales. You will provide technical leadership and support to departmental staff and project teams using analytical tools and methodologies.

About the Role

  • Provide analytical and reporting assistance to the department and senior management and external parties (i.e., government) on all aspects of wholesale programs.
  • Build relationships with customers and suppliers to facilitate and maintain wholesale program compliance, while providing extraordinary customer service
  • Provide support to operationalize policies, create user manuals, and document processes.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing for system upgrades and enhancements, and issue identification and resolution.
  • Contribute and collaborate on special projects and assignments as required. 

About You

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience within a Supply Chain and/or Wholesale environment, with expertise in Supply Chain activities, functions, processes, concepts, and legislation.
  • Excellent reporting skills of complex analysis methodology to provide in-depth analyses and to make recommendations.
  • Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, organization and leadership skills are necessary.
  • Collaborative team member with the ability to work independently to achieve deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and query tools, MS Power BI and Access.
