A Day in the Life of an Operations Admin:
- The Operations Admin at Waste Connections provides essential clerical and administrative support to the operations department under direct supervision.
- This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency by managing inventory reports, updating route information, and assisting with customer service inquiries
- Ensure that operational data is accurately recorded and communicated, contributing to the overall success of the company's environmental services
- Reviews container supply and demand reports and populates the inventory management report
- Updates and inputs route information into the computer system on a daily basis
- Assists Dispatchers by responding to customer and driver complaints and inquiries
- Reports any safety or customer service-related issues to supervisor or manager
- Maintains and processes operations information, such as vehicle maintenance, accounting, and route sheets
- Assists in generating monthly productivity reports
- Follows all safety policies and procedures; participates with the team to achieve safety goals
- May assist with IRB and Safety processes
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
Must Have:
- Ability to relocate for promotional opportunities
- Ability to obtain CDL permit and CDL within specified timeframes.
- 2+ years of experience in transportation, and/or logistics services.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
