This is an amazing opportunity to get involved! As an Operations Accounting Specialist II, you will play a crucial role in supporting the other regional teams in customer billing and collections, cash application, processing of global and local vendor invoices, reconciliations of customer and vendor accounts, month end close processes, light office administration and assisting in yearly audits. This role collaborates closely with Managers and other accounting specialists located in Singapore, Florida USA, and Texas USA, in addition to other leaders in the finance organization.

Insight on your impact:
- Manage and/or assist in the onboarding of new customers (validate data, review payment terms, and credit limits) and the billing of customers currently purchasing from our Singapore or North American entities.
- Manage and/or assist in the cash application of customer deposits, monitoring AR aging, and participate in collection process if overdue invoices are identified.
- Review, seek approval, code and send all local vendor invoices for the Hungarian entity to our Hungarian third-party accounting firm for payment.
- Manage and/or assist the Singapore and North American AP Teams in the processing of vendor invoices (like the local accounts payable invoices)
- Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with management.
- Assist with external audits and coordinate with auditors by providing required documentation.
- Maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Participate in special projects, system implementations, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Your qualifications, your influence:
To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in the areas listed, preferably in medium to large corporate environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
- Good analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage details.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Good to Excellent command of English and Hungarian language.
