Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise for crane automation system and all components related to operational technology.
- Proactively provide specialized technical knowledge, guidance and support to all terminal personnel, including Crane Controllers.
- Continuously review/analyze equipment breakdowns, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance history, implementing a process of continual improvement to eliminate major or repetitive failures.
- Contribute to incident and damage investigations as required.
- Develop a team with high level of specialization in automation & OT through continuous training.
- Ensure that right processes of communication are set between Crane Controllers, Maintenance Supervisors and internal clients (Operations).
- Organize and manage automation & OT modifications or new projects to improve performance of cranes.
- Provide input or professional advice for special local procurement.
- Contribute to maintain automation & OT work instructions and SOP.
- Manage services with vendors like ABB, Siemens and other related.
Key Requirements:
Education
- B.S. Electrical, electronic, mechatronic, software engineering or related.
- Master of science is a plus
Formation
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 14001-2015 standards.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages (SFC, FBD, LAD, ST, or STL)
- Development using an object-oriented HMI interface
- Basic knowledge of drives and inverters for electrical machines.
- Communication protocols (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet, ASI, and CanBus)
- Principles of programming languages for control processors, hardware configuration, networks, distributed control, databases, high- and medium-voltage circuits.
Experience
- 5 years of experience working with software-based fault diagnosis.
- 8 years of experience working in maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems for equipment related to the port, mining, or manufacturing industries.
- knowledge of variable speed drives and inverters for electrical machines.
- knowledge of medium-high voltage systems
