The role of Operational Risk Analyst, based in our Barangaroo Sydney office, offers something new every day. You will learn across products and departments, expanding your knowledge of OTC derivatives and stockbroking in a dynamic, fast-paced company with multijurisdictional exposure and a solid foundation.

What You’ll Be Working On:

You will be joining an established, hardworking and multiskilled department, gaining exposure to compliance, financial crime and AML.

As Operational Risk Analyst, you’ll be:

• Managing reported incidents, including investigation, key resolutions and signoffs
• Contributing to committees, such as Policies & Procedures and Business Continuity Management
• Preparing operations risk reports for the board and board committees
• Interacting with greater parts of CMC, including department heads

What Will Help You Be Successful:

• Financial services experience, preferably in a similar industry, with exposure to operational risk
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with varied responsibilities
• Being inquisitive and self-organised, able to take initiative and work autonomously
• Ability to pick up new systems quickly and willingness to take on a challenge
• Eligibility to work in Australia permanently
