About your team :

Change and Operational Resilience

Our department is split into two teams: Change Management and Operational Resilience.

The Change Management team provides Project Management capacities to run large Business and Regulatory Projects within FIL Fondsbank GmbH (FFB). This also includes NPP process and documentation in case of new products. We manage the Change Portfolio including monthly Senior Management Reporting, we define the Change Management Framework and Standards and we run the Change Management Governance Meetings.

The Team Operational Resilience ensures that written procedures and process documentation comply with regulatory requirements. Based on the process landscape we analyse our processes and support process improvement initiatives.

We provide 1st Line Risk Management support/training and manage 1st Line Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities and controls (e.g. Business Impact Assessments). End User Computing (EUC) as well as Information Security activities to be managed by the business (e.g. protection requirements analysis) are also part of our area of responsibility. Last but not least we support the business with Records Management (retention and data deletion) activities including the central storage of our contracts. Overall, the team covers 1st Line of Defense responsibilities resulting from MaRisk; BAIT and GDPR.

About your role :


In your role as Operational Resilience Manager you will support the business with focus on BCM, EUC, Information Security and Records Management activities. This said, you will be in contact with all business units and run analysis and assessments with the teams based on standardized templates and procedures. You will assist the teams with using the different systems to capture relevant updates that support our operational resilience. It will also be your responsibility to manage the annual review of our retention schedule and ensure proper data deletion including storage of evidence.

  • Business Continuity Management (BCM)
    • Perform Business Impact Assessments with the business units and other BCM related activities and controls
    • Capture BCM plans and support the annual review
  • End User Computing (EUC)
    • Support the business units with EUC assessments and perform periodic controls to ensure compliance
  • Information Security (IS)
    • Manage the annual review of protection requirements analysis based on our process landscape
    • Support the update of the information register and other IS related 1st Line activities
  • Records Management
    • Provide training for our Data Stewards
    • Annual review of the retention schedule
    • Coordinate data deletion and manage controls
    • Manage the contract hub (central storage of contracts)
  • Procedures & Guidelines
    • Develop new 1st Line procedures, guidelines and templates
    • Maintenance of existing procedures & guidelines

About you :

You will be the perfect fit for this new role in our Operational Resilience team if you have a good understanding of regulatory requirements according to MaRisk, BAIT and GDPR and you enjoy supporting the business in the related activities to foster our operational resilience.

You should have strong organisational skills, enjoy working with the teams and communicate well. You like to be the helping hand to guide the business through regulatory required activities. You have a background in Risk Management, Business Continuity or Information Security.

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Risk Management, Business Continuity or Information Security
  • A professional banking qualification or experience in financial markets
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience in supporting and training business units
  • You like to be accurate to manage control activities
  • You communicate well
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Powerpoint, Excel and Word as well as MS SharePoint
  • Fluent German and English language skills
