We’re looking for an Operational Quality Manager to lead Quality Assurance activities across manufacturing, packaging, testing and warehousing. Based at our site, you’ll help ensure our products are manufactured, tested, released and stored in line with Haleon Quality System, cGMP, Halal Product Assurance System and applicable regulatory requirements. You’ll also act as the QA Responsible Pharmacist, playing a key role in protecting product quality, compliance and consumer safety.

A day in the life

Role Responsibilities:

  • You’ll lead and strengthen Quality Assurance processes so our products meet quality, safety and compliance expectations from end to end.
  • You’ll review and approve GMP and regulatory documentation, ensuring decisions are made with product quality and patient or consumer safety in mind.
  • You’ll lead investigations into deviations, OOS, complaints and quality system failures, driving clear root cause analysis, effective CAPA and robust impact assessments.
  • You’ll partner with the Head of Quality and Regulatory Compliance Manager to plan, host and manage internal and external audits.
  • You’ll ensure suppliers and materials meet Haleon standards and applicable local regulatory requirements, including supplier qualification, approval and ongoing control.
  • You’ll establish monitoring and control systems that support consistent halal production requirements, from raw material receipt through to final product release.
  • You’ll work closely with Site Quality Leadership and cross-functional teams to support efficient operations, drive continuous improvement and maintain a strong culture of Safety and Quality.
  • You’ll promote continuous improvement aligned with business and site objectives, strengthen team growth and learning, and track Quality KPIs to identify trends and drive meaningful improvement.

  • Pharmacist qualification with active STRA
  • At least 5 years of management leadership experience in Quality Assurance within pharmaceutical industry

Preferred Qualifications

It would be a plus if you also have:

  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, EHS, BPOM and international standards such as FDA, WHO, MHRA or EMA.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use data for tactical and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent project management capability, with the confidence to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives independently.
  • A collaborative working style, strong technical writing and excellent communication skills in English.
  • High integrity, professionalism and attention to detail in everything you do.
  • Strong direct people leadership experience
