The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Description:

  • Lead and develop the operational excellence and quality teams to ensure high performance and continuous improvement culture,
  • Drive implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices across the operation,
  • Plan and execute cost reduction, efficiency and process improvement projects (Kaizen, problem solving, VA/VE),
  • Monitor and improve operational KPIs, ensuring effective performance tracking and reporting systems,
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems (IATF 16949) and lead internal/external audits,
  • Support optimization of plant layout, material flow and overall production efficiency,
  • Identify waste and drive initiatives to optimize resource utilization and sustainability practices,
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and improve processes,
  • Coach and develop employees through structured training and performance management processes,

  • Company vehicle is not included for this position,
  • Report to Plant Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial)
  • Minimum 7+ years experience in operational excellence / continuous improvement (WCM, Lean, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems (IATF 16949, audits) and KPI management,
  • Experience in leading teams and driving cross-functional projects,
  • Proficiency in problem solving, cost reduction and Kaizen methodologies,
  • Fluent English and strong stakeholder management skills.
