Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and support standard operating procedures across all Data Centre sites to ensure a consistent and effective approach.
- Act as the subject matter expert for facilities management compliance, providing guidance on environmental, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Monitor and support compliance across all locations, ensuring procedures are followed and providing evidence and reporting for internal and external audits and requirements.
- Deliver training and guidance to help teams consistently apply operational procedures and best practices.
- Review Data Centre Operations risk register items and ensure any required improvements are reflected in procedures, communicated effectively, and embedded across teams.
- Stay informed of industry developments and best practice, working closely with problem management and continuous improvement teams to enhance operational performance.
- Maintain an accurate, accessible, and up-to-date library of operational procedures and processes.
- Design, produce, and share compliance, KPI, and operational performance reports, providing meaningful insights to stakeholders across the business
What / who we're looking for:
- Experience managing multiple projects and SOP's concurrently - ideally in a technology environment.
- Knowledge of the purpose and challenges involved in operating and maintaining critical infrastructure (such as power and cooling.)
- Curious and proactive.
- Attentive to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- A strong comunicator who is confident approaching, speaking with and collaborating with multiple stakeholders at different levels across the business.
- A keen interest in the rapidly expanding and evolving data centre industry.
