Company Overview:

Blink Health is the fastest growing healthcare technology company that builds products to make prescriptions accessible and affordable to everybody.  Our two primary products – BlinkRx and Quick Save – remove traditional roadblocks within the current prescription supply chain, resulting in better access to critical medications and improved health outcomes for patients.

BlinkRx is the world’s first pharma-to-patient cloud that offers a digital concierge service for patients who are prescribed branded medications. Patients benefit from transparent low prices, free home delivery, and world-class support on this first-of-its-kind centralized platform. With BlinkRx, never again will a patient show up at the pharmacy only to discover that they can’t afford their medication, their doctor needs to fill out a form for them, or the pharmacy doesn’t have the medication in stock.

We are a highly collaborative team of builders and operators who invent new ways of working in an industry that historically has resisted innovation. Join us!

The Role: Operational Excellence Manager (Pharmacy Operations)

The Operational Excellence Manager (Pharmacy Operations) is part of Blink’s Patient Services Operations team, which leads our mission to make prescriptions more affordable and deliver the best patient experience. Reporting under the Operational Excellence umbrella, this role drives process improvement, standardization, and efficiency across Hub Pharmacy Operations. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Patient Services Operations, Product & Engineering and Data to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and execute initiatives that enhance scalability, quality, and patient impact. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on executor, skilled at translating operational needs into scalable processes, tools, and data-driven insights.

This will be an on-site position based within our Pittsburgh, PA office.

Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement & Operational Design: Drive initiatives that improve pharmacy operational efficiency, quality, and scalability. Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and automation opportunities. Document end-to-end workflows and partner with Product and Engineering to implement process enhancements into the product platform.
  • Project Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals. Translate business needs into actionable plans and support the rollout of new workflows, offerings, and features. Build consensus, track progress, and maintain clear communication across teams.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Use data to guide decisions and measure the impact of operational initiatives. Develop key performance metrics, analyze trends, and conduct root-cause analysis on performance gaps. Collaborate with the team analyst to build dashboards and share insights that drive continuous improvement.
  • Operational Excellence: Foster a culture of operational excellence through standardized documentation, clear metrics, and continuous improvement. Define and demonstrate what “good” looks like, driving adoption of best practices across Pharmacy Operations.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in pharmacy operations, healthcare operations, or process improvement; experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth or healthcare environment preferred.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to plan and execute multiple initiatives from concept to completion, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable process improvements; experience with Google Sheets, SQL, and/or BI tools.
  • Process Improvement: Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies; skilled at documenting workflows and standardizing processes.
  • Technical Fluency: Proficiency with Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Slides, App Script) and comfort with light technical solutioning or automation.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities; able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Mission-Oriented: Motivated by Blink’s mission to improve medication access and passionate about delivering scalable, data-driven operational solutions.

We are a relentlessly learning, constantly curious, and aggressively collaborative cross-functional team dedicated to inventing new ways to improve the lives of our customers.
